Into the heather…
We have met Ann & Peter few years back in Dublin - how time flies!
Our friendship started with one of our photographic projects we were working on together back in the day.
As they have been recently celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary, we have learned that their original wedding photo-shoot experience was not as they have expected it to be.
This had us thinking that we might give them something back as a gift and appreciation of our friendship. After a short discussion we have decided to create, or rather re-create that special moment for them in a rather unique way.
Magda was the mastermind behind the whole idea of the setting and she also prepared a beautiful bouquet and created a gorgeous wild flower crown for Ann and buttonhole flower for Peter. In the meantime I have prepared the photo equipment and we were set to go.
For the location, we have decided to bring them to an amazing place, full of blooming heather in the Wicklow Mountains. We have arranged an intimate stage including a beautifully dressed table so they could unwind and enjoy the magnificent views, while having a nice glass of champagne.
Our couple was looking lovely in the surrounding scenery, weather decided to be generous to us also.
They knew about the dress-code but didn’t expect the special setting.
When we looked at our Bride and Groom you could definitely sense that a lot of love was present in the air.
Sparks in their eyes, big smiles on their faces, nice words and gestures.
“I’ll meet you at the altar”
“I’ll be the one in white!”
“If I had a flower for every time thought of you… I could walk through my garden forever.”
– Alfred Tennyson
“I love to sit on a mountain top and gaze. I don't think of anything but the people I care about and the view.“
– Julian Lennon
They were smiling a lot, so we think we might have just succeeded in helping them to re-live that special moment again.
“I love you and that’s the beginning and end of everything.”
– F. Scott Fitzgerald
We are so honoured that we became a part of this magical moment and captured it.
It will stay in our minds for a long time and we hope that it will remain as a precious memory for the Couple. Forever.
